The ducks appear to be made of styrofoam and wrapped in a yellow felt.
They are on a small spring attached to the clip so will bounce around. It's nice that the ducks all have different tops on them.
You do need to clip these onto secured lengths of hair to keep it properly stable. Has to be secured horizontally if you want the duck to bounce properly versus just leaning.

All ducks came with clips attached, some accessories fell off in box but can be hot glued back on. Did not come with all ducks as shown in pictures – missing both bow versions, white hat and star headband. However it came with duplicates of others instead – 2 pink hats, 3 bunny ears, 2 cat ears. Listing should be updated to say it'll be a random selection of the ducks pictured. Good for the price you pay, but slightly fragile as it's all just hot glued together.

Very poor quality. Ducks were cute but everything fell apart. For the price i paid, i could have made better ones for myself. Used them for a costume and they didn’t last even half the day. They got dye on them so i couldn’t return.

This set of 12 ducks arrived fully intact. Each duck sits on a spring attached to a little clip, and each has two eyes, a beak, and a head accessory. The ducks have a flocked, slightly fuzzy texture.
I thought I was getting "12 different styles of duck hair clips" where "each duck has a different style of headdress on its head." At the time of my review, the first image shows 16 different ducks, and I assumed I would just receive a variety of 12 from that selection. However, the ducks I received are as follows:
-Black cowboy hat (one)
-White cowboy hat (one)
-Pink cowboy hat (one)
-Solid pink ribbon bow (one)
-Pink polka dot ribbon bow (one)
-Heart antler headband (one)
-Cat ear headband (two)
-Star antler headband (two)
-Four-leaf clovers (two)
So, I received duplicates of three different styles. I'm not mad about it, and the quality for the current price of $8.99 isn't terrible. However, there are a couple of things to consider:
-It looks like all of the pieces are glued onto the ducks with a tiny amount of glue, so some regluing might be necessary at some point.
-While they are sold as hair accessories, they do not stay upright well when worn in the hair. The ducks seem to be too top heavy for the tiny little springs, and they tip over easily. They are much more stable when clipped to a flat surface, like an envelope.

Cute, but had dried glue all over them.

1 duck arrived missing the bottom clip attachment and they weren't even in the box for me to glue them back on so they were clearly packed that way.
